*Return Seaplane Transfers
Return Seaplane Transfer – Approximately 35 minutes from Velana International Airport, Maldives by seaplane.

After a long flight upon your arrival at Velana International Airport, guests will be greeted by our airport representatives at the arrival terminal. Our team will escort you and ensure a smooth and seamless transfer to the resort.

Guests can retreat to the Dusit Thani Maldives’ private lounge within the seaplane terminal, serving complimentary refreshments, tea, coffee and light snacks.

Travelling by seaplane is an experience in itself as you’ll fly over lagoons, resorts and uninhabited islands.

Seaplane operates during daylight hours from 06:30 to 16:00 only and subject to weather conditions. For arrival, we can arrange seaplane transfer for international flights landing at Velana International Airport (MLE) by 1:00pm. For departure, we can arrange seaplane transfer for international flights departing from the airport after 9 am. For evening departures, domestic flight transfers is required.

Seaplane flight times, operation times and transit times are subject to change. Please be reminded that transfers to and from the resort are managed by third-party service providers who supply the resort with confirmed flight schedules. The scheduled timings are solely at the discretion of the management of the service provider, leading to potential variations in waiting times and multiple stops that are beyond the control of the resort.

Luggage allowance of 20 kgs per person and 5 kgs hand luggage, any amount over this will be charged an additional US$ 5 per kg and may be subject to delivery delay. Baggage items that weigh more than 32kg will not be permitted on board unless repacked in lighter luggage. Price and weight restrictions are subject to change at the discretion of Airline Company.

Cancellation Charges
Please note, cancelled bookings will incur charges. Our travel service providers are entitled to impose cancellation charges, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
