Arrival Procedure for Sun Siyam Olhuveli
Just a 45 minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport, Sun Siyam Olhuveli is our most conveniently located resort.
Meet and Greet at Male Airport: After Immigration & Customs, please make your way outside the arrival Terminal, where you will be met and assisted by Sun Siyam Olhuveli personnel for your speedboat check-in process. Then you’ll be whisked away to catch your speedboat transfer, where you’ll zip across the turquoise waves, enjoying complimentary access to our onboard free WiFi as you watch for paradise to appear over the horizon.

Sun Siyam Iru Veli
Sun Siyam Iru Veli is accessible by Seaplane or Domestic flight only. Guests must arrive into Male before 1pm or they will be require to stay overnight in Male and catch the morning flight to the resort

Seaplane Transfer Process:
On your arrival at Male Velana International Airport, the Sun Siyam Iru Velid Maldives team will welcome you outside the arrival hall, escort you to the seaplane lounge ready for your flight.
Travel Time is 40 minutes flight. Baggage allowance is 25kg per person inclusive of check-in luggage hand luggage. Excess baggage charge of US $5 per kg is levied for baggage exceeding this amount.
Seaplane flights operate during day light only, with the last flight leaving at 3.30pm. Guests will need to arrive into Male no later than 1 pm to get this flight or will be required to stay overnight in Male and catch the morning flight to the resort.
