Arrival Procedure for Oblu Xpeience Ailafushi:
Meet and Greet at Male Airport: After Immigration & Customs, please make your way outside the arrival Terminal, where you will be met and assisted by OBLU EXPERIENCE AILAFUSHI personnel for your speedboat check-in process, for your onward exhilarating 15-minute speedboat ride to OBLU EXPERIENCE AILAFUSHI. North Male Atoll (Please look out for the OBLU EXPERIENCE AILAFUSHI placard) OR proceed to Counter E-14 (Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts) for further assistance.

Cancellation Charges
Please note, cancelled bookings will incur charges. Our travel service providers are entitled to impose cancellation charges, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Day 1: Arrive in Colombo, travel to Negombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport. Be greeted by your very own dedicated My Holiday guide and drive just 45 minutes to your hotel in Negombo. Once a small fishing town, Negombo is now a modern tourist hotspot, located on the west coast of Sri Lanka. Head to Sea Street, where you’ll find many seafood restaurants, serving delicious local dishes.

Day 2: Negombo to Wilpattu (B, D)
Today, drive approximately five hours to Wilpattu National Park, the largest wildlife reserve in Sri Lanka. Covering an area of over 130,000 hectares, Wilpattu National Park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, sloth bears and spotted deer. Spot all of these creatures and more on an evening safari.

Today, travel five hours to the historic town of Dambulla. Upon arrival, head to the famed Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in the country. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts 157 Buddha statues, along with intricate mural paintings. Learn about the unique history of the temple and admire the beautiful views of the countryside. This evening, join a safari at Minneriya National Park. This vast preserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, sambar deer and langur monkeys.

Day 3: Dambulla (B, D)
The highlight of today is a visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Rising out of the lush jungle, this rocky monolith is home to the remains of an ancient fortress built in the late fifth century. Sigiriya translates to ‘Lion Rock’, a reference to the way visitors traditionally began their final ascent to the top of the fortress: passing through the open jaw of a lion. Today, the only remains of this lion figure are the gigantic paws sculpted into the side of the rock.

Day 4: Dambulla to Colombo Airport (B)

Day 2: Negombo to Kegalle to Kandy (B, D)
En route to Kandy, stop by Kegalle to visit Millennium Elephant Foundation, an ethical orphanage that strives to improve the care and treatment of SriLankan elephants. Spend some time observing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.
Upon arrival in Kandy, head to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Dating back to the 16th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site consists of numerous buildings, each decorated with paintings and carvings depicting Buddha. As the name suggests, this temple complex houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha, which is carefully guarded by security night and day. This evening, be entertained by traditional Kandyan dancers during a cultural show.

Day 3: Kandy to Colombo (B, D)
Enjoy a four hour scenic rail journey from Kandy to Colombo, the largest city in Sri Lanka. From the initial Arab traders to the Portuguese, Dutch and British colonists who later occupied the city, Colombo is defined by its history and boasts a melting pot of international influences. Explore the city on a locally-guided tour, checking out attractions like Colombo Independence Square, Colombo National Museum and the Galle Face Green. Enjoy a final night in Sri Lanka at the Fairway Hotel.
