Arrival Procedure for Adaaran Select Meedhupparu
When clients arrive in Male as they walk out of Arrivals , They look for The Adaaran sign, our airport hosts with then direct them to our counter and transfer them to the seaplane or domestic terminal for onward transfers.
Seaplane Transfers – 45 minutes from Velana International Airport to the Resort.. Seaplanes operate during daylight hours between 6 am and 3.30 pm only and subject to weather conditions.
Sea plane transfers may have possible stops en-route. Guests will have complimentary access to lounge facility upon arrival. Baggage allowance is 25kg per person inclusive of check-in luggage hand luggage, 50kg luggage allowance per couple.

Once a small fishing town, Negombo is now a modern tourist hotspot, located on the west coast of Sri Lanka. Day 2: Negombo to Wilpattu (B, D)
Approx. 3.5 Hours’ Drive
Enjoy a morning tour around the sights of Negombo, then travel to Wilpattu National Park, the largest wildlife reserve in Sri Lanka. Covering an area of over 130,000 hectares, Wilpattu National Park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, sloth bears and spotted deer. Day 3: Wilpattu (B, D)

This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts 157 Buddha statues, along with intricate mural paintings. Learn about the unique history of the temple and admire the beautiful views of the countryside. This evening, join a safari at Minneriya National Park. This vast preserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, sambar deer and langur monkeys.
Day 3: Dambulla, day tour to Sigiriya (B, D)
Approx. 30 Minutes’ Drive
The highlight of today is a visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Rising out of the lush jungle, this rocky monolith is home to the remains of an ancient fortress built in the late fifth century. Sigiriya translates to ‘Lion Rock’, a reference to the way visitors traditionally began their final ascent to the top of the fortress: passing through the open jaw of a lion. Today, the only remains of this lion figure are the gigantic paws sculpted into the side of the rock. There’s also the option to visit the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs, an ancient burial site that offers a glimpse into the life and times of people living in prehistoric and protohistoric Sri Lanka.

En route to Kandy, stop by Kegalle to visit Millennium Elephant Foundation, an ethical orphanage that strives to improve the care and treatment of Sri Lankan elephants. Spend some time observing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.
Upon arrival in Kandy, head to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Dating back to the 16th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site consists of numerous buildings, each decorated with paintings and carvings depicting Buddha. As the name suggests, this temple complex houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha, which is carefully guarded by security night and day. This evening, immerse in local culture during a Kandyan dance performance, a unique style of dance practiced for many centuries.
Day 3: Kandy to Colombo (B, D)
Approx. 3.5 Hours’ Train, 2.5 Hours’ Drive
Enjoy a scenic rail journey from Kandy to Colombo, the largest city in Sri Lanka.
